Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of DupeHound (https://dupehound.com), operated by Harjot Rana, an individual based in India ("we", "us"). By using the site or buying a report you agree to them.

What DupeHound does

DupeHound searches public image indexes for listings that use images similar to the photos you upload, and organizes what it finds. The free preview is automated. The paid Copycat Report is reviewed by us before delivery and includes matching links, the date and time each match was captured, the creation evidence you give us laid out by date, and a takedown worksheet for one marketplace.

What DupeHound does not do

• We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice. Nothing we deliver is a legal opinion.
• We do not act as your agent. You decide whether to file any report, and you file it yourself.
• We do not establish ownership or authorship. Our reports contain dated evidence only. Marketplaces and courts weigh that evidence on their own terms.
• We do not promise that any listing will be removed, or that our searches find every copy.

Your uploads

You may only upload photos and designs you own or have the right to use. You keep all rights to them. You give us a limited license to store and process them, and send them to our image search provider, only to deliver the service. You must not use DupeHound to harass anyone or to file reports you know are false.

Payments

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and reseller for our products. Dodo Payments handles billing, taxes and receipts. The Copycat Report is a one-off payment of US$29. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Delivery

We deliver the report by email within 3 business days of receiving your photos. If we cannot deliver, we refund you in full.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for decisions marketplaces make, or for actions you take based on a report.
